Turnkey Deployable APRS Digi/iGate

A couple of weeks ago, in preparation for a local water tower deployment, I started working on a turnkey style easily deployable repeatable APRS digi/iGate station in a box.

This objective of this sort of a station is to have a self-contained all-in-a-box easily deployable digi/igate, be it in an one-off event site, or a more permanent site location such as a water tower.

I have a few pictures that I will eventually upload here and also post the progress of the deployment at the local water tower location.

This is a great project and great video. I am running Pi2/tnc-pi with xastir. I have it connected to my Icom 706MKIIG and working just fine. I would now like to make it portable and use a UV-5r. I have Baofeng external speaker Mic and would like to remove the mic and use the cable and wire it to db-9. I am confuse on the PTT which wire is used. If you have time would you please send me a diagram or explain the pin out for me.
