termkick ("the App") is a macOS app for SSH and local terminals, developed and operated by N0AGI LLC.

Data We Collect

The App does not collect, transmit, or share any personal information. There is no account, no analytics SDK, no crash reporting, no advertising and no telemetry. Nothing you do in termkick is sent to N0AGI.

Network Connections

termkick makes no network connections of its own. Connections happen only when you start them, to hosts you choose:

• SSH tabs run the macOS system ssh command against a host from your SSH configuration.
• Install on host runs the system ssh-copy-id command to add one of your public keys to a host you pick.

What termkick Reads

• Your SSH configuration, ~/.ssh/config, and the files it includes, to list your hosts.
• Your public key files (~/.ssh/*.pub) and the list of keys loaded in ssh-agent, to show your keys.
• termkick never opens private key files. It only checks whether they exist and what their file permissions are.

What termkick Stores on Your Mac

• Hosts you add in termkick: ~/.ssh/termkick_config, a standard SSH configuration file.
• Backups: copies of SSH files termkick changes, in ~/.ssh/termkick-backups/.
• Snippets: one file in ~/Library/Application Support/termkick/, always encrypted (AES-256), with backups in the same folder.
• Snippets key: a random key in your macOS login Keychain, named "termkick snippets key". It is not synced to iCloud.
• Preferences: display settings such as appearance, font and color scheme.

Files termkick Changes

termkick changes your ~/.ssh/config only when you confirm it on screen (adding its one Include line, merging, removing a host, or choosing a key for a host). It shows the exact change first and always makes a backup before writing.

Passwords and Passphrases

SSH passwords and key passphrases are typed into the standard OpenSSH tools themselves (ssh, ssh-keygen, ssh-add, ssh-copy-id) running in a terminal tab. termkick never sees or stores them. The passphrase you choose when exporting snippets is used once to encrypt the export and is never stored.

macOS Permissions

Your shell runs as part of termkick, so if your shell's startup reads folders such as Documents, Downloads or Desktop, macOS asks whether termkick may access them. You can change these answers at any time in System Settings → Privacy & Security → Files & Folders.

Third Parties

termkick contains no third-party SDKs: no analytics, crash reporting, advertising or social SDKs. It bundles open-source components (such as the SwiftTerm terminal engine and its fonts), which run entirely on your Mac and are listed in the App's About section.

Children's Privacy

The App does not collect information from anyone, including children under 13. termkick is a utility app intended for general audiences.

Data Deletion

To remove everything termkick keeps:

• Delete the App.
• Delete the folder ~/Library/Application Support/termkick/.
• In Keychain Access, delete the item "termkick snippets key".
• If you added hosts in termkick: delete ~/.ssh/termkick_config and the Include termkick_config line (with termkick's comment above it) at the top of ~/.ssh/config.
• Delete the folder ~/.ssh/termkick-backups/ once you no longer need the backups.

Changes to This Policy

If this policy changes, the updated version will be posted at this URL with a revised "Last updated" date.
